Shannon De Croix suffers a serious skiing injury during a competition and soon realizes that much of her identity is tied to her ability to race competitively. As her life is thrown into turmoil and all she has worked for comes into question, will Shannon be able to figure out why she races and if there is more that God has planned for her.
Hudson Landers, former Olympic champion turned coach, carries an enormous load of guilt from the past. His feelings for Shannon start to impact his ability to coach her. Afraid that her desire to push herself harder and faster to recover could result in tragedy, Hudson pulls away.
These two characters are so well-written. If you are looking for a story that will touch your heart, with characters that are not only discovering their feelings for each other but also how to trust God and let go of the rest, you will find it in this sweet romance. Highly recommend. (5 stars)
