I have read and enjoyed all three books in the Legacy of Lancaster Trilogy. Forever Amish is the third book in the series and is definitely my favorite! Don’t worry if you have not read the first two books in the series, this book can also be enjoyed as a stand alone novel.
Forever Amish was just so enjoyable. I really liked Sally Bingham and felt for her. She is a confused woman who needs answers and is questioning what path she should follow with her life. I found her to be a very interesting character who simply needed to straighten some things out in her life and desperately wanted to be told the truth.
Ah, and Armin…I really enjoyed him in the second book of the series, but liked him even more in this one. What a handsome and nice man. He hasn’t ever totally settled down and committed to the Amish lifestyle. He is a man of great depth. More about his past is talked of in book two, but enough is mentioned in Forever Amish that readers should be able to see that he has great emotion in him. I love how sure he becomes of his future in this book. I really enjoyed watching the relationships grow between all of the characters in this book, and liked the message of forgiveness that was woven throughout the story.
Forever Amish was a joy to read from start to finish and I would definitely recommend it to fans of Amish fiction. (5 stars)
