Undeniably Yours

Bo Porter from Undeniably Yours

Bo PorterIn his early thirties, Bo is tall and powerfully built. He has dark hair that he keeps cropped very short. With rugged features and gray eyes, he is a formidable leading man.

Bo’s a sucker for his leading lady, Megan Cole. Even though Meg is an heiress, he senses a vulnerability in her that draws him in. Meg is very insecure about love, embarrassed that she is divorced, and is emotionally wounded. She grew up with a distant father and then had a disastrous first marriage to a dangerous man. Meg has felt the need to stand on her own two feet these last few years and will need a man who knows how to treat a woman right.

Thoroughbreds are Bo’s life. He started studying them as a child. He is a former Marine and served overseas. Bo is now the farm manager at Whispering Creek Horses and he’s going to try his hardest to convince Meg to not shut it down.

Meant to Be Mine

Ty Porter from Meant to Be Mine

Meant to Be Mine quote

With sandy brown hair and light blue eyes, Ty Porter is startlingly handsome and incredibly charming. Following the role model of the other men in his family, he served in the Marines straight out of high school. He later found success as a professional bull rider.

Ty has a penchant for reckless stunts, which fits in with his dangerous profession. However, he makes his most reckless and impulsive leap at the beginning of the story, Meant to Be Mine. He wakes up married to Celia, a woman he knew back in high school! Ty panics and breaks Celia’s heart.

Five years later, Ty knows he needs to make things right with Celia. He doesn’t think she will ever forgive him and now he discovers a reason that he may not be able to forgive her – a daughter that she has kept secret from him!

A Love Like Ours

Jake Porter from A Love Like Ours

A Love Like Ours Quote

Some say that he just might have been the most handsome of the Porter brothers growing up. Still disarmingly good looking, Jake now carries with him a very noticeable scar that runs from his nose, across his cheek, and down to his jaw. He is over six feet tall, has a lean build, dark brown hair, and hazel eyes.

He’s a man of few words, who is brooding and serious since returning from active service in the Marines. This is due to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, as well as an overwhelming sense of grief and guilt that he carries with him. His family members describe his soul as ranging from “merely dark to downright terrifying”. He also struggles with serious doubts about God.

Jake is an extremely talented horse trainer and is not in the market for a relationship. When Lyndie, a childhood friend from long ago, enters his life, Jake does everything in his power to keep her at arm’s length in a desperate attempt to keep her from digging too deeply into everything that weighs him down.
