Review: A Heart’s Promise by Colleen Coble PLUS Take it to the Beach Giveaway!

A Heart's PromiseI have really been enjoying this novella series from Colleen Coble. These novellas come from two books she wrote early in her career. They have been broken up into six different short stories and A Heart’s Promise is book five.

Reading this story and seeing the continuing struggle that Emmie is going through made for an interesting read. I liked learning about the daily lives of Amelia, Sarah, and Emmie, who are all expecting babies, yet are all having different experiences and levels of health and energy.

I thought that A Heart’s Promise was a sweet story and I can definitely see that there will be some heartache coming in book six, before everything can finally reach happily-ever-after status! It is hard to wait between each novella to read the next one and I would recommend reading the whole collection to really get the full story. This is also a series that, I believe, needs to be read from book one, in order, to fully understand what is happening. (4 stars)

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher, through Litfuse Publicity, in exchange for an honest review.
