This was a very exciting book! There was a lot of tension in the story and a good bit of action and danger. The seriousness of the stalker’s intentions is clear right from the beginning of the story. Wade and his daughter are definitely in danger and it is up to his bodyguard, Olivia, to keep them safe and figure out who is behind the threat.
The author did a good job of creating a woman who is capable and strong, as well as determined to do a good job. She is also a woman with some insecurities and a past that haunts her. This helps to make her more approachable to the reader and even to Wade. I think that is part of what draws him to her.
There are plenty of possible candidates behind the stalking, and although I actually did correctly guess who was behind Wade’s problems, the author kept enough doubt in my mind to keep it interesting and threw in some good twists.
I look forward to reading more in this exciting series.
