Review: A Chance at Love by T. K. Chapin

A Chance at LoveA Chance at Love is a young adult story and is written in first person. I liked the plot of this book, however, I never really identified with the characters or felt connected to what was going on in their lives. I found the story to be easy to read and I think quite a few people will really like following what happens in the developing relationship of Kyle and Emily, as well as the relationships that Kyle has with various family members and friends. It just fell a bit flat for me, personally. I would have liked to have delved deeper into these characters and I felt that I was really only seeing the surface of them. Some arguments and interactions between characters seemed forced to me and were hard to follow.

Not really my cup of tea, but A Chance at Love could be interesting to the Christian young adult audience.

A Chance at Love

This inspirational Christian romance is a story of two hearts who met in an unexpected way. A love story that not only shows how God works things together for good in our life, but the spiritual growth of one young man.

Kyle Reynolds was just a pizza slinging delivery driver with a dream when he met Emily Hayden. She gave him a glimpse at love and stole his heart away without any hesitation. However, Emily had a secret. Not just any secret, but one that could and would change everything.

A Chance at Love is a Christian romance that captures the sweet side of young love and packs a punch of spiritual deepness that will leave you breathless. A refreshing story that will inspire your faith and warm your soul.
