Review – Tranquility: A Prayer and Reflection Coloring Journal by Amie Carlson

TranquilityI am really enjoying this special journal! First of all, it is absolutely beautiful and well constructed. I love the artwork on the cover and all throughout the pages. But, what I am loving best of all is the various ways I can sit down and use this journal.

Sometimes I open to a page and read the prayer and accompanying Bible verse, then simply think on what I’ve read. Other times, I read the selection and then write my feelings or thoughts in the area provided. And finally, there are times I simply need to take a breather and relax. These are the times when I pick up a colored pencil and work on filling in one of the adult coloring book style illustrations. I’m finding this jounal to be very versatile and the topics covered are ones that are really helpful to me right now.
