With This Wish is book nine in the Windswept Bay series, yet I believe that a reader could jump right in and enjoy this novel even if they haven’t read any others in the series. I really enjoyed returning to the Sinclair family and catching up with all of the characters from previous novels. The ongoing interactions between these brothers and sisters, and now their wives and husbands, are one of the things I like most about these sweet stories.
In With This Wish, I had a little bit of trouble connecting deeply with the two main characters for some reason. However, I still liked them and felt for what both of them were working through in their lives, and I enjoyed getting to have Trent Sinclair finally find someone for him. This was a sweet addition to the series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Trent Sinclair knows love and loss. He holds both close to his heart and private. But when he meets Lilly McCall, the sister of his brother-in-law, suddenly his life is turned upside down.
Lilly McCall has been running from her past as long as she can remember. She keeps busy helping out at one national park after the other…but now her past is catching up to her and she’s come to Windswept Bay looking for answers. She isn’t counting on the handsome, quiet Trent Sinclair turning her world upside down and putting her wounded heart on the line.
