The View from Rainshadow Bay kept me guessing. There was a lot going on in this novel and at times I felt as if I was suffering from information overload. There were so many clues, multiple characters, and scenarios from both the past and present that had to be sifted through. It was very entertaining and the author kept me guessing through almost the entire novel as to how everything was connected and who the villain was.
I liked the main characters and hoped for the best for them. I didn’t connect very deeply with Shauna and Zach, but I did feel for them and all that they had both suffered through for the past year. There were plenty of action-packed moments and some good romantic tension that built throughout the story. I think this book will be the start of an exciting series.
