My Review:
Her Family’s Defender was an nice story. I really liked Troy, who began the story as a quintessential bachelor, but by the end was intricately entwined in the Robinson family. I enjoyed watching his journey. He was a great guy and truly stepped up for Michelle and her kids.
I liked Michelle, too, and even though some of the decisions she made frustrated me at times, I could understand her reasoning. She and her kids had been through a very tough time and were new to the area. I enjoyed their family dynamic, and especially enjoyed the way Troy fit right in.
This story is part of Harlequin’s Heartwarming line, which has a sweet romance focus. It is a clean story, with only a couple of mild swear words and some references to alcohol. I enjoyed this title and look forward to reading more from this author.
