I really enjoyed this second chances story! Bittersweet is a clean, contemporary story written for the general market.
The emotions these characters were feeling were so real to me as I read this novel. I loved the way the author told the story from both of their perspectives. There were some serious hurts to overcome and an attraction that Harper wished wasn’t still there after all of the pain she had endured.
I liked Logan so much and even though I questioned the way he handled things four years earlier, his reasoning based on his past situation made sense. I also thought Harper handled learning the truth behind Logan’s disappearance very well. It showed a kindness of character in her.
Bittersweet was captivating from start to finish, packed with attraction between the two main characters, and offered the hope of a happily ever after to characters that I really liked.
