Review: The Rancher’s Homecoming by Anna J. Stewart

the rancher's homecomingThe Rancher’s Homecoming wrapped up this series beautifully. Chance and Katie had a lot of heartbreak to overcome before they could find their happily-ever-after. I really felt for Chance and all that he and his daughter lost when his wife died. He was stuck in more ways than one.

Katie carried many burdens. She dealt with so much more than most people knew about. In previous books, her father’s bad health was hinted at. The reader knew that Katie had unoffically taken on all of her father’s responsibilities as foreman. Yet the sad truth of the situation did not become clear until this novel.

I loved watching Katie and Chance find each other. Their attraction was complicated by the fact that Chance’s late wife was Katie’s sister. Chance loved his first wife completely. Could Katie ever measure up in her own way and become as treasured to him as Maura had been?
