What an interesting story. I really felt as if I was on Three Sisters Island and experiencing the quirky characters and inconveniences of island life in far northern Maine.
While this story does have its focus on the oldest sister, Camden, I enjoyed that her father and two sisters also had many sections of the book written from their points of view. It was interesting to see how each individual person viewed the family dynamics and their place in the family, while also reading about how others viewed them.
The romance was naturally built with a gentle progression that made sense for the story. I loved the various twists and turns that arose. These characters definitely have flaws and issues that have molded them into the people that they are in this book. It will be interesting to see how they grow and change emotionally in future novels. I enjoyed this story a lot.

Suzanne Woods Fisher lives with her family in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Suzanne graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, and was a free-lancer writer for magazines while her children were growing up.
