Review: Fall Flip by Denise Weimer

Fall FlipI enjoyed this story so much! These characters had great back stories. Scott had a crush on Shelby in high school, however Shelby hardly paid Scott any attention back then. Well, things would definitely change in this novel!

At the beginning of the book, these two seemed to be opposites. Shelby appeared to see herself as better and more professional than Scott. I liked the way the author revealed how Shelby came to be this way and I absolutely loved her transformation throughout the story, with a focus on healing her relationship with the Lord.

The attraction between Scott and Shelby was very well-written. Also nicely done were the reactions of both Shelby and Scott to various situations. Whether it was Shelby feeling guilty over moving on to a new relationship, or Scott feeling hurt by Shelby’s reactions to him, the tension these interactions brought to the story made it feel very believable. These two characters felt very real, with flaws and attributes that made me want the best for them.  The hint of mystery was a great addition to the story, as well. I loved this book from start to finish!
