MY REVIEW

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is texas-witness-threat.jpgThis suspense novel packed a lot of action in between its pages. With twists and turns and plenty of danger, it was hard to tell who the enemy was and who was just misguided in their thinking.

I liked the two main characters. Christine was an Assistant US Attorney, and although she was a powerful and smart woman, there were some insecurities that she dealt with due to some things in her past. Add in the multiple attempts on her life in this novel, and she definitely needed the help of Texas Ranger Blake Larsen.

Blake also carried around insecurities, even though he was a good and competent Ranger. Events from his childhood impacted him and made him think that there was no room for love in his life. I liked watching these two work together to solve this unique tale!
