The Baby Next Door was such a fun, sweet story. Although it is part of the Indiana Amish Brides series, it is definitely a book that can be read as a stand alone novel.
Adrian, with his exotic animal farm, was not your typical Amish man. He definitely showed his caring heart with the way he took in all kinds of animals and had a lot of patience for their quirks.
Grace was a single mother who loved her daughter and wanted to keep her safe. She struggled with guilt and definitely some fear. Her efforts to thwart Adrian’s Amish tour idea were pretty funny.
I really liked these two characters and the way they grew closer as the story progressed. It was sweet to see how much little Nicole liked Adrian and how much he grew to love both Nicole and her mom.
