Love Blooms was such a wonderful, sweet story. Filled with interesting characters and located in a beautiful setting, I felt so happy while reading this story!
Hannah and Ethan were very likable characters who definitely had great chemistry, first as a friendship developed, and then as romance began to bloom between them. I appreciated the struggles that they were both going through.
They had the immediate problems of getting Hannah’s bakery repaired and finished so it could open for tourist season while also organizing the Spring Fling. They both also struggled with internal issues as well. Ethan had healed physically from an injury as a firefighter, however, emotional healing related to the event was another thing entirely. Hannah had some hurts and worries that she had carried around for the past two years, making it hard for her to give her heart to Ethan.
Both of these characters felt like real people trying to work out real issues. I am definitely looking forward to reading more in this series!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
