What an absolutely wonderful and moving novel! I felt my heart catch so many times while reading this book. Whether it was as Paisley recounted the pain of her past or a few times where Crockett said or did the something that hurt Paisley emotionally and she took the high road.
Now, Crockett was not a bad man, just a wounded man who was afraid to trust a woman because he carried the scars of pain and rejection in his life. But he was such a great dad! And it was amazingly beautiful to see the way Paisley connected with his two kids so well.
The Bliss, Texas series is so good and I truly loved A Future to Fight For from start to finish! You can definitely enjoy this book, even if you haven’t read the rest of the series. But if you are looking for a great series, full of small town charm and second chances at true love, then this would be a good series to pick up.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
