Review: What a Heart’s Desire is Made of by Debra Clopton

What a sweet and heart stirring addition to the Star Gazer Inn of Corpus Christi Bay series! This is book four of the five book series and I would definitely suggest reading the stories in order. While each individual love story between the main couple in each book can stand alone, there are some over arching themes and love stories that build within the series.

The love that begins to build between Tucker and Maggie is especially heartwarming as they have both experienced the pain of losing their loves. Maggie is a widow and Tucker lost his fiancee’ tragically years earlier. They have both experienced love and loss and have to make the decision to let new love grow.

Zane and Lisa’s story progresses to a new level in this story, as well, however, this brings problems of its own. They have a lot of pain to work through and I look forward to reading more about their story in the next book.

It was uplifting to see how life is progressing for the other sons and their significant others. Lots of exciting things going on in their lives. And Alice and Seth make such happy newlyweds! These characters make me wish that this was a real family that I could get to know.
