My Review

This is a sweet story that introduces a new small town and cast of characters for a new series. Wes and Abby are fun characters to read about. They both carry baggage. Wes has trust and abandonment issues related to his upbringing and also a recent event that impacted him emotionally and financially. Abby also has some trust issues from having given her heart to the wrong man. Now she finds herself expecting a baby and all alone. She also has concerns that she may not be able to provide for her child even though she is determined to do all she can.

Wes and Abby have good chemistry together and it is obvious that they are developing feelings for each other. Yet it is hard for them to let go of their insecurities and move on to a better future together.

I enjoyed meeting the characters who lived in this town and I look forward to future books in this series featuring these people. It looks like there is the potential for some really fun happily-ever-after stories in this series.
