Review: Never Leave Me by Jody Hedlund

Never Leave Me was a wonderful story to start the new year with! This was an absolutely beautiful tale and the perfect follow up to book one, Come Back to Me. I am hoping that the author will write a book three and take us all on another jaunt through time.

Harrison’s devotion to Ellen was so endearing. He never wavered in his love for her, no matter the cost to himself. I felt bad for him as he suffered through heartache quite a few times as he tried to make the best decisions for Ellen.

Both of these characters were very likable. Ellen had a lot of emotional healing to do after the diseases she spent so many years fighting. Opening her heart and allowing herself to recognize her feelings for Harrison was not easily accomplished.

I loved both the present and the past settings with these characters and even though I knew the book was coming to an end, I really didn’t want to let go of any of the characters! I loved it from start to finish. I definitely recommend reading the books in the Waters of Time series in order.
