MY REVIEWS

OUT OF THE NIGHT

Out of the Night was everything I could have hoped for in terms of an action packed spy thriller, woven with swoony romance between York and RJ. This book (and series) is one that must be read in order, as this story ends in a cliffhanger. I believe it also needs to be read after both The Montana Marshalls series and the Global Search and Rescue series in order to understand both the worldwide events that have taken place and also as a way to meet RJ and York and learn their backstories and about all of the events that have shaped them into the people they are. Their story really is epic and flows across multiple books.

I really felt for York. He loves RJ so much and wants to spend his life with her. And it is clear that RJ loves York, as well, yet there is something in her which keeps her jumping into danger at every corner. This really takes a toll on York, who wants to put all of the danger behind them. There were portions of this story where I wanted to tell RJ to look in front of her and see the man who wanted to make a life with her. And I think she finally got it and understood how hard this was for York, yet the story arc is far from concluded, and things are far from settled. This book has me ready and anxious to dive into book two, I Will Find You, to see what happens next!

I WILL FIND YOU

Book two picks up right after the cliffhanger of book one and plummets the reader into more international intrigue and danger that just won’t let up! Yet, in between hiding and fighting for their lives, the author weaves York and RJ’s romance into the pages with some truly beautiful moments for the two of them.

There were so many things I loved about this novel, including snippets from the historical biography that RJ was reading. That epic love story from history added even more depth to RJ and York’s own circumstances.

I really liked the way the team that formed in this story worked together. They had many dangerous situations to get themselves out of. I will find you ends in a cliffhanger that will lead directly into book three, No Matter the Cost. I am so anxious to find out what happens next!

NO MATTER THE COST

I have loved this series so much! It was such a wonderful combination of intrigue, spies, clues to unravel, and danger threaded into the love story of a couple who have been through so many life threatening situations in their time together. As they work to uncover and defeat the masterminds behind all of the terror and destruction that has been following them, while also trying to thwart any imminent plans that may be in the works, York and RJ must discover where they belong as they move into the future.

Throughout this whole series, I have loved seeing York’s heart and his love for RJ. In this last novel, however, he is so much the spy and man of action that he was when RJ met him that I felt like it brought things full circle.

I loved every part of this story! There were some amazing and intense action scenes and some truly swoon worthy moments of romance between these two. I loved the way the author tied everything up and am always amazed at how she connects various book series and events together. I loved the epilogue. I hope that some of the side characters that we have met will get their own stories someday, too.
