What a great audio book! I loved both the story and the narration for this one. Labyrinth of Lies is book two in the Triple Threat series, which follows three sisters and each sister gets a book. It can easily be read or listened to as a stand alone if you haven’t read book one.
I loved that Zeke and Cate had a romantic backstory together. The tension that was already there due to the fact that both were working undercover at the school was definitely heightened by thoughts of their personal relationship eight years earlier. These two quickly realized that they still cared for each other, yet there were reasons that Cate was especially hesitant to begin a relationship with Zeke again. I loved the way they talked things out and were open about what had happened between them.
The suspense and storyline was top notch with many players and lots of questions about not only what happened to the missing student but also concerning who was the mastermind behind the focus of Zeke’s DEA investigation. Great story!
