My Review
Her Surprise Hometown Match was a sweet story between two characters who were both trying to overcome other people’s views of events from their pasts. Their struggles were different, but still a bit similar. I felt that Ty handled the pressure of expectations a lot better than Juliette. She had pretty much lived her life with anxiety, obsession, and fear about a secret she worried would become known. It really defined her and seemed to me that it sucked a lot of her joy out of living.
I liked the way Juliette and Ty fell for each other. Their connection and attraction was fun to watch grow throughout the story. This is the fourth book in the Golden Matchmaker’s Club series, however, you do not have to have read the other books to enjoy this one as a stand alone novel.
