MY REVIEW
The Cowboy’s Amish Haven was a sweet second chance at love story. I really liked Gail and Levi right from the start. They knew each other as teens and Levi was a few years older than Gail, who had harbored a big crush on him during that time. This reunion could give Levi the opportunity to see Gail as a woman instead of a gangly teen following him around and it could give Gail the possibility of finding love with the only boy she had ever cared for. Yet, they faced a huge obstacle. Levi was no longer Amish!
I enjoyed watching as Levi got to know the family of sisters again and began working with Gail to help her save her ranch. These two worked well together and were simply likable people. Levi’s son, Seth, was a great addition to the story, as well.
I look forward to reading more books set in this Amish community in the fictional town of Burr Oak, Texas.

Pamela Desmond Wright grew up in a small, dusty Texas town. Like the Amish, Pamela is a fan of the simple life. Her childhood includes memories of the olden days; old-fashioned oil lamps, cooking over an authentic wood-burning stove and making popcorn over a crackling fire at her grandparent’s cabin. She also loves needlepoint and has dozens of projects to work on! Someday, she hopes to move into van life, living on the road as a traveling writer.
