Even then, Kate keeps Charlie hidden, putting all her childlike faith in one terrible hope: that the family who has never been able to protect her before might learn how to do it now.

I have this on my tbr for since the spring, but I waffle on the subject matter and get a little nervous. Erin writes some lovely stories and I’m sure she won’t disappoint with this one.
